This is the L&N's Lebanon Branch. It ran from Lebanon Junction off the Main Stem to Sinks,KY,where it joined up with the Cincy-Corbin line. I think the L&N referred to this line as part of its Knoxville Division. Today the track runs to New Hope,KY on the western end of the Branch, and it runs from Sinks,KY to Mount Vernon on the eastern side. The Kentucky Railway Museum owns about 11 miles of the line, the rest was torn up in May of '90.
