| Late June found a good portion of vthe west side of Colorado Sprins burning. BNSF Trains were affected somewhat. Here at the north end of Kelker siding sits a nb waiting w/o a crew for clearence thru the area near the fire. The closets the fire's came to the tracks was near the AIr Force Academy. This is been noted as the most destructive Wild Fire in Colorado History. Many thanks go out to the Firefighters who fought this blaze and brought it under control.Without them more could have been lost. |
